Zeppi and Spud allowed me to paint their portraits during these cold winter months. As if I don't have enough to do planning for next season, keeping the wood stove burning bright and admiring the woods covered in snow, while I shovel us out every day.
Even though a good part of the barn/house is insulated and a wood stove offers a warming fire, at 20 below, it's not that important to heat up everything! I've moved the easel to the cabin where I can make the best use of my painting time. I have 3 oil paintings to finish and more pet portraits (acrylic) in the works.
If you would like to see another perspective of your own companion, just let me know.
